In 2016, Bishop TJ Johnston of Saint Peter’s Church joined Bishop Todd as Assisting Bishop for our diocese, helping him with episcopal oversight and other official duties. But until now, we haven’t tapped this pastoral leader’s wealth of insights about leadership, community and discernment for the local church. We sought him out at the 2017 Clergy Conference to glean a few snippets of his shepherd’s heart for our diocese—focusing on his passion, the missional church.
